I have not seen anything and would love to have one. I bought the Disney wow disc but that is good for 7.1 only. Have been movies been released with something like the old THX optimizer? Unfortunately, there aren't any publicly available Atmos test discs.

Some demo discs have been given out at recent Expos (like CEDIA and CES) that sometimes are available on Ebay at outrageous prices. Hopefully the companies who publish A/V calibration discs will have their own versions RealSoonNow, but I wouldn't hold my breath. I expect they'll be including them on the same discs used for 4K video calibration. The DTS:X Blu-ray disc The Last Witch Hunter includes a DTS:X test track, though. I would think that it would have test tones for all the channels. I was not able to find an info on this track on Amazon. I know you're looking more for a test disc than a demo disc but I thought I would add this. I emailed Dolby for a demo disc about a month ago and this is their response.
Thank you for your interest in Dolby Atmos® for the home, including demonstration (demo) discs. If you are a home theater retailer or installer, demo discs are available through our partners who manufacture Dolby Atmos enabled AVRs and speakers. Please contact those partners directly for more information.
If you are a home theater enthusiast, you can now find Dolby Atmos trailers on Vudu®. You can easily access them from a Dolby Atmos ready streaming device connected to your AVR. Most Blu-ray™ players with the Vudu app will work, in addition to the PlayStation®4 console, Roku® devices, and the new Vudu Spark™ stick. Step One: Visit Vudu on your Dolby Atmos ready streaming device, and ensure that it’s connected to your Dolby Atmos enabled AVR, set for bitstream pass-through or surround sound (the setting language may vary by device). Step Two: Search “Atmos,” find the “The Dolby Atmos Experience” HDX bundle, and get it for free by selecting “Purchase for $0.” In this bundle, you will find five trailers designed to demonstrate the full capabilities of Dolby Atmos.
Step Three: Once a trailer is selected and streaming, your AVR display should indicate “Dolby Atmos.” Keep an eye on Dolby Atmos Blu-ray releases on Dolby.com: Please refer to the following additional resources on Dolby Atmos for the home at your convenience: Dolby blog posts about Dolby Atmos for home theater: The Dolby Atmos technology page on Dolby.com: The Dolby.com speaker setup guide and downloadable resources: Thank you for your interest in Dolby Atmos for the home. You can also download the files from demo world in the 2D Trailers HD section. Scroll down to the Dolby section and you will see a handful of files listed as TrueHD 7.1 Atmos. Depending on your setup. Should be able to play the files from your computer via HDMI or simply transfer the files to a flash drive and play them via your Blu-ray player if it accepts flash drives.
At the moment that is how I do it using the Sony BDP-S5200 bluray player. Once I download the files I I transfer them to a folder inside of the flash drive that I have created and labeled Dolby Atmos Demos. Here is a link to Demo world. Scroll down to the Dolby section and download the ones labeled lossless. For example Audiosphere (Lossless) 1:01 142,0MB TrueHD 7.1 Atmos 1080/24p 22.12.15.

The Vudu stuff is lossy anyway; the discs have the loss-less soundtracks. Coming from someone who has both the Dolby and DTS demo disks, IMHO the Dolby disc is worth every penny and the DTS disc is only worth a few pennies. In fact, the best thing on the DTS disc (the 11.1 callout) can be found on other commercial DTS:X releases (few as they may be).
Interesting, thank-you very much for the information! I've seen various discs on ebay, but the DTS:X 2016 disc seems to be really expensive. I took a gamble and won a Dolby Atmos demo disc (Ebay item 47 - I can't post links yet according to the forum rules), and I also bought Ebay item 30 which is an old 2013 pre-X DTS demo disc. It was a great relief when the Atmos disc arrived it turned out to be entirely in the English language, only the label and covers were German I've been following the posts on the DTS:X thread with interest (part-way through it) and don't have any DTS:X content at all currently. 'Few as they may be' is doubly the case for Region B Blu-rays!
